Lindsay Judah

Dr. Lindsay Judah, DPA, CFO, CTO, CEMSO, MIFireE, currently serves as the Fire Rescue Division Chief for St. Petersburg Fire Rescue. She also serves as a Fire & Emergency Services consultant working with national and international organizations. She previously served as a District Fire Chief, as well as a Training Captain for an ISO 1 and CFAI accredited fire department, an EMS/Training Lieutenant, Engineer, Firefighter/Paramedic and Paramedic for a regional hospital in Florida’s capital city. She also participated as a Fire Explorer with Post #952, St. Petersburg Fire Rescue.

She is a member of the Fire Department Safety Officers Association, Florida Fire Chiefs’ Association, International Association of Fire Chiefs - Safety, Health, and Survival Section, the International College of Advanced Practice Paramedics (I-CAPP), Florida City and County Management Association, Florida EMS Advisory Council Data Committee, and Pinellas County EMS Advisory Council. A selection of her certifications includes Critical Care Paramedic (UF), Muma College of Business Certificate Programs (USF), Leadership 101 (Troy), FEMA Continuity of Operations Planning, Fire Officer IV, Florida Safety Officer, Hazmat & USAR Technician, Instructor III, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and Peer Support (IAFF, Illinois, and UCF).

She holds a doctorate in Public Administration and serves as a graduate professor for her alumna, Valdosta State University, teaching courses in Organizational Leadership, Political Science, and Public Administration. Her doctoral research focused on innovation in the fire service, specifically UAV programs. Her master’s program included an internship with Emergency Management in Tallahassee, FL. She is a two-time alumna of St. Petersburg College, completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Safety Administration, as well as an Associate of Arts in General Studies. She is an active volunteer in the community, freelance writer, an Everyone Goes Home® Advocate and Fellow, supports the National Firefighter Registry for Cancer, serves on the Awards and Scholarship Committee for the Florida City and County Management Association, 11th ed. Team Member and Peer Reviewer with the Center for Public Safety Excellence, participated on the International Fire Service Training Association validation committees Chief Officer 5th ed. & currently serves on the Hazardous Materials for First Responders 7th edition
