IFSTA Mobile App
The IFSTA® Mobile App is designed to combine multiple IFSTA titles’ support materials into one central location for individual learners. This app provides convenient access to several IFSTA Audiobooks, Exam Preps, Interactives, Skill Videos, and more! Create an account or log in using your existing IFSTA credentials to begin.Flashcards:Use the flashcards feature to review the key terms and definitions found in IFSTA manuals. Select individual chapters or create your own custom Study Deck to review focus areas. The Glossary provides a searchable list of all key terms. Flashcards are provided at no cost.Identification:Test your fire service knowledge with this feature which includes photo identification questions covering tools, equipment, containers, and placards. Identification is provided at no cost.Skill Videos:Prepare for the hands-on portion of your training by watching Skill Videos covering the IFSTA-validated skill sheets. Each video demonstrates the steps required to perform various fire fighting skills. Bookmark and download specific skill videos. Written steps are included with each video. Skill Videos are provided at no cost.Audiobook:Listen to an IFSTA-validated manual in audio format. Audiobook features include offline listening, note-taking capabilities, and variable speed playback. Audiobooks are available as an in-app purchase.Exam Prep:Prepare for a certification exam using these multiple choice questions. Customize a practice exam by setting a timer, shuffling questions and answers, and selecting the number of attempts. Exam Prep tracks your progress, allowing you to review your exams and create a custom Study Deck with questions of your choosing. Exam Preps are available as an in-app purchase.Interactive:These self-paced interactive lessons cover the title's learning objectives and use media-rich interactions to enhance the learning experience. They include text, audio, images, videos, and knowledge checks. Interactives are available as an in-app purchase.NOTE: If you have previously used single-titled IFSTA Apps (such as IFSTA Essentials 8), use your IFSTA credentials to ensure your purchases, progress, and data are migrated over. How to migrate your purchases and progress from the single-titled IFSTA Apps to the new IFSTA Mobile App:Before you begin, check the following details:
- Ensure your device is using the same Apple ID or Google Play Account that made the purchases in the single-title IFSTA app.
- Ensure your single-title IFSTA apps are up to date. You can check this by navigating the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and searching for the app. An update button will appear if your app is not up to date.
STEP 1: Once you have verified these details, open your single-title IFSTA app. Progress through the two IFSTA Mobile App screens, and tap “Continue to Login”.
STEP 2: Login with your IFSTA credentials or create an account if you do not already have one. If you have multiple IFSTA credentials, it will be up to you which account you want to use going forward.
NOTE: Before you tap “Migrate now”, we strongly recommend you check that your purchases are redeemed and/or restored before moving on to the next step. Do this by selecting “Skip”, navigate to your in-app purchases, and tap "Buy All". Once your data has been migrated, you will no longer have access to your purchased content through the single-title app; instead, it will be available to you exclusively through the new IFSTA Mobile App.
STEP 3: If you want to migrate your purchases and data, select “Migrate Now”. You will receive a message confirming your data successfully migrated.
STEP 4: Continue to the IFSTA Mobile App to confirm access to your purchased content.
