Digital Project Manager


Fire Protection Publications is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders.

As FPP Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for the online presence of Fire Protection Publications (FPP) and the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA), and support its mission of producing high-quality educational content for firefighters and first responders.

You will manage short- and long-term web initiatives, create lasting web strategies, and with input from advertising and sales managers, direct content on web and social media platforms. Your team will collect effective content and publish it in an appropriate format on a scheduled basis, and through analysis of business intelligence and analytic data, make necessary adjustments. You and your team will monitor traffic, performance, and capacity in order to identify, prevent, and resolve issues. This position requires good working knowledge of E-commerce, social media and its technological use, effective use of web technology and content, and the effective use of analytics data.

Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device and will either be provided a University-owned device or compensated for their use of a personal device.
