Fire Protection Publications (FPP) is a mission-driven, values-based organization dedicated to the production of high-quality educational content for the international community of firefighters and first responders. FPP is an Engineering Extension unit of the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology at Oklahoma State University.

We are looking for the right individual to serve as E-Products Coordinator. This position will be part of the production team within the e-Products department. The production team strives to develop quality electronic training material to all FPP/IFSTA internal and external customers. A successful candidate will have excellent organizations and communication skills. This is a fast pace team and you will need to demonstrate general knowledge of mobile apps and emerging technologies. This position will work closely with the eProducts Project Manager and external vendors to develop technical documents and project plans concerning resources, tracking and project timelines.

This position will be based in Stillwater, OK.

Areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating and manage the day-to-day operational project and performance in regards to FPPs electronic content and development. The position will coordinate the various projects including the vendor relationships as needed.
  • Working with vendors and developers daily
  • Track the development, progress and rollout of multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Create documentation and procedures for product development and rollout as needed by the vendor and FPP departments for product completion.
  • Manage project budget by project, approving all invoices and following all vendor and contract agreements processes within OSU and FPP.
  • Work with other departments (Sales Team, Customer Support, web, marketing and etc.) to market the app ensuring that those departments have necessary information to market the items appropriately.
  • Manage store listings for FPP Apps
  • Analyzing market and customer needs, planning delivery of new functionalities, expanding our product offering to meet the need of the industry and provide the competitive advantage.
  • Relay customer feedback and comments to appropriate departments for appropriate actions.
  • Stay current with Editorial, Curriculum and Graphic departments on production status.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and three years’ experience in project management, mobile app development or related field. Must be a creative thinker, have attention to detail and be organized. Have the ability to manage multiple project, excellent time management and communication skills. Demonstrated understanding and application of FPP's organizational values: Service, Safety, Quality, Integrity, Excellence, Professionalism, Accuracy, Collaboration, Credibility, Innovativeness, Accountability.

Compensation: Compensation for this position will be based on work experience, skills and abilities the selected candidate brings to the position. The current hiring range for Oklahoma State University is $41,080 - $55,640 annually.
