This position will be based in Stillwater, OK. Areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for maintaining all payroll operations according to OSU policy. This included biweekly, monthly and supplemental
- Trains new employees on how to use Banner time entry system
- Provides internal communication providing information about payroll related matters
- Works with FPP’s supervisor’s with rewriting or creating job descriptions and entering them into the Cornerstone system or the HireOSUGrad.com
- Assist with new hire onboarding process and ensure new hires are scheduled for orientation with OSU
- Attend career fairs and represents Fire Protection Publication to build professional relationships with potential future employees
- Responsible for processing new employee hire paperwork and verify new employees through verify system
- Enter new employees into the payroll system and verify it’s approved timely
Qualifications:
High school diploma (or GED) and five years of customer service or clerical relatable experience. Have the ability to learn and work across multiple systems and platforms. Ability to handle confidential information and personnel matters professionally is required. Ability to provide excellent customer service with both verbal and written communications skills. Ability to work independently to initiate/coordinate projects, organize and handle multiple task simultaneously and follow through completing. Demonstrated understanding and application of FPP's organizational values: Service, Safety, Quality, Integrity, Excellence, Professionalism, Accuracy, Collaboration, Credibility, Innovativeness, Accountability.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be based on work experience, skills and abilities the selected candidate brings to the position. The current hiring range for Oklahoma State University is $14.50 - $21.75 per hour.
